Fall Barn Market Vendor Application
Thank you for your interest in our FALL Barn Market hosted by The Red Dresser! We are happy to be holding our Fall Market on September 13-14 at the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds. We will host numerous vintage purveyors and local makers, as well as food trucks, mobile boutiques, a live music stage with courtyard and lots of parking. We will continue to feature a Friday ‘First Picks” shopping event from 4-8 with live music, food trucks and early bird shopping. You are required to be there both days - booth fees include those 2 days.

Friday, September 13th from 4pm-8pm and Saturday, September 14th from 9am-4pm. You are required to set up and get your booth ready for both days. Please note, this venue is mostly outdoors. See spaces available and pricing below.
vendor MERCHANDISE REQUIREMENTS
We are happily accepting vintage and handmade artisan vendors!
The focus of our market is vintage, on-trend boutique and handmade artisan items - specifically home decor and personal accessories. This is a juried market and all vendors are carefully considered and selected by our Barn Market committee. We strive to keep a balance in each category, providing our shoppers with a thoughtfully curated selection of unique vendors and their offerings. If your wares are on-trend for today's market, this is the show for you! Only 25% of your merchandise may be wholesale or new, the rest MUST BE vintage or handcrafted.
Set-up and display are important! We WILL be visiting your social media sites to view your current inventory, previous show set up and experience. We want a peek at your merchandising and unique aesthetic. If you do not have social media accounts for your business, we will be requesting photos from you via email for our vendor selection committee.
We realize some of you have brick-and-mortar shops or mobile boutiques selling "new" items, as well. While we love the vintage and handmade aspect of our market, we also respect entrepreneurs that can offer something new and different to our shoppers. We are happy to consider any vendors and mobile boutiques selling new clothing, accessories or other items that fit the "feel" of our vintage market!
If you have not sold at a show before, please do not hesitate to apply! We absolutely support those just starting out or who are brand new to the marketplace!
There are several options for vendor spaces. We will be utilizing many of the barns, grassy areas and arenas. A tent is required if your booth is on the lawn to protect you and your wares, should it rain. We recommend your tent be WHITE for a cohesive look to our Market. Please note, this is a mostly outdoor venue, prepare accordingly for the possibility of inclement weather. The show goes on, rain or shine!
This is not a flea-market type show! Our vendors are expected to have their booths styled in an attractive manner. Merchandise must be displayed in a way that looks pleasing and inviting. We are looking for eye candy!
SHOW SET UP
Set up begins Friday, September 13th at 9am, and all vendors must be completely done by 3:00pm Friday afternoon. Vehicles must be removed from the premises and relocated to the vendor parking area no later than 2:00 Friday afternoon.
Vendors may NOT start breaking down their booth prior to the close of the show at 4:00 pm on Saturday. Vehicles will be allowed on the property for loading up after closing. For the safety of customers there will be ABSOLUTELY NO vehicles allowed on the grounds for loading until 4:30. NO EXCEPTIONS. This will be strictly enforced! Vendors must be done breaking down their spaces completely, by 6:30.
NO PETS are allowed anywhere on the Fairgrounds property.
If you choose to leave things in your booth overnight, it is at your own risk. We will have security on site patrolling the grounds periodically throughout the night but The Red Dresser Barn Market and Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds assume no responsibility for theft or damages.

*ELECTRICITY (Additional $15)
Electricity is ONLY available to food trucks (water & electric included in Food Truck fee) and a limited number of indoor vendor spaces. The cost is an additional $15 for the 2 days. Vendors will need to provide their own power strips.
Once you are approved.
If approved to be a vendor, you will receive an email with your Barn Market vendor information and link for remitting payment. You will have 1 week from the date of that email to remit payment and secure your space. If not paid by the due date, your space may be offered to another applicant. All payments are non-refundable, so before you commit, be certain you are able to attend.
